Forging Stronger Business Ties

As part of my ongoing visit to the Republic of Cyprus, I had the pleasure of joining President Nikos Christodoulides in an engaging interaction with prominent CEOs and business leaders from both our countries. This dialogue aimed at deepening commercial linkages and exploring new avenues of cooperation between India and Cyprus.

Our discussions covered a wide range of sectors with immense untapped potential—particularly innovation, renewable energy, information technology, infrastructure, and startups. During the interaction, I also spoke about India’s economic transformation over the past decade. From bold structural reforms to unprecedented digital inclusion, India’s journey has created a robust, investor-friendly ecosystem. These reforms have opened up numerous opportunities across industries, making India one of the most attractive destinations for business and investment.

India and Cyprus share a relationship built on trust, shared democratic values, and a common vision for global growth. Today’s meeting reaffirmed our commitment to taking this partnership to greater heights, with stronger economic ties serving as a cornerstone of our evolving bilateral relationship.
