India’s Voice on the Global Stage: A Commitment to Peace and Security

Recently, I had the opportunity to interact with members of various Indian delegations who represent our nation across the world. These individuals serve as the face of India in international forums, multilateral negotiations, and bilateral engagements, carrying with them the values, aspirations, and strategic vision of our country. Our discussions were both insightful and inspiring, as we reflected on India’s growing role in shaping global discourse—especially on peace and counter-terrorism.

India has always believed in the power of dialogue, diplomacy, and cooperation. As a country with a rich civilizational history rooted in the ideals of non-violence and mutual respect, our commitment to global peace remains unwavering. At a time when geopolitical tensions and security challenges are rising, India continues to stand firm in its belief that sustainable peace can only be achieved through inclusive dialogue, multilateral cooperation, and respect for international law.

Whether it’s advocating for the adoption of the Comprehensive Convention on International Terrorism (CCIT) or calling out cross-border terrorism, India’s stance remains clear: there can be no justification for terror.
